Where the heck have I been?

So... I have always HATED websites, particularly by artists, that don't get updated often enough. Now look at me, I have become one of "those guys."

I don't know where to start... the last year has been amazing. I am living my dream working for DC Comics/ Wildstorm out here in sunny San Diego. Look for my work on the upcoming book "Ferryman" illustrated by Jon Wayshack. I am also coloring a few
other things at the moment.

So Far this year I have contribued colors to "Midnighter" "Lost Boys" "Casey Blue" "Dreamwar" "Green Lantern Corps" and a few others that escape me at the moment.

I think the highlight of the year was being at Comic Con and proudly wearing my professional badge with "DC COMICS" on the front.

The rumors are true!

I have Been Hired by DC Comics/ WildStorm!!
I Begin Work after the new year.

Sorry about the Long wait between posts. This Fall has been totally crazy for me. I Coached my Son's Football team to an Undefeated season (The Bittersweet Bengals went 6-0 and are undisputed League Champs!) That is me in the Black Jacket before our final game. Our team only gave up THREE touchdowns all year. I love those guys, they were such a great team to be involved with.

I got to Work on Great Comics like "24",
"Gene Simmons' house of Horrors," "Beast Wars,"
"GI Joe: Storm Shadow" "Megatron" and a few other awesome things.

I will tell how I got my big break with DC in my next post.

The new job means re-locating the family to Sunny
San Diego. I just finishedShoveling Snow for half an hour
(I live on the corner, so I have a lot to shovel.) I will definitely not miss shoveling while
I lounge in the sun at the beach. I love
Colorado, but it is time to move on.

7/23/07 Going Back to Cali...

My favorite week of the year is Comic Con week in
San Diego. It almost always falls on or near my Birthday (July 24th.) I'll be around the Convention and enjoying the great SoCal food and weather.

Here is Page 18 from issue 4 of Danger's Dozen. Story by Thad Branco, Illustration by Norm Breyfogle, Colors by Me.

Things are going great. I recently finished illustrating a Story for "Gene Simmons House of Horrors" from the fine folks at IDW.

Also, I am also going to be working on more projects for Devil's Due.

Finally, The New Badger Series is returning from IDW. Look for my art in that series as Cover Colorist and Pinup artist.

6/5/07 Post TROMA-tic

I am working on quite a few things at the moment. Here is a little clip from "Lloyd Kaufman Presents: The Toxic Avenger and other Tromatic Tales " from Devil's Due Publishing. I did the Colors for a story starring Kabukiman, illustrated by Kalman Andrasofszky, written by B.Clay Moore (Hawaiian Dick.)

I am also working on Art for the webisode version of the hit TV show "24"

Another neat new project I am working on is illustrating and Coloring an 8 page Story written by Mike Baron for IDW's "Gene Simmons House of Horrors" anthology.

I also have a few other Iron's in the fire but I'll keep it quiet for now.

4/9/07 Sneaky Peek

Here are a few little clips from a Story I am illustrating.
"The Dangers Dozen" from First Salvo.

Written By Mike Baron, Art by Me
(ink assist by Nick Runge.)

2/15/07 Buttered Cat Toast

What is this? Where did it Come From? Why Did Norm Breyfogle Draw it? Why did I color it. Why does toast land butter side down? Why do Cats land on their feet? What happens if you tape a piece of toast butterside-up to a Cat's back?

Go to First Salvo's Website to find out more.

1/29/07 COVER ME!!

Here is a sneak peak at the Cover art for "The Hook" Graphic Novel. I'm not sure when it comes out in stores but when I know, you will know. As always, Pencils, inks, and Colors by me. The full cover is really nice.
